Unprecedented commercial success, multiple awards, and accolades from the President of the Republic are just some of the recognitions that Crystal Lagoons has received in South Africa since the opening of its first project, The Blyde. With an explosive expansion, the multinational innovation company currently has a total of 24 projects in different stages of development and negotiation.
It recently inaugurated its most emblematic project, Munyaka, near Johannesburg, in the Midrand region, development in association with the country’s leading developer, Balwin Properties. This project has won awards, became a sales success – 550 apartments were sold in only four days – and was highlighted by the President of the Republic for its urban contribution.
This monumental crystalline lagoon of turquoise waters and white sands, will become the largest in the country, covering an area of approximately seven rugby fields and providing a new Johannesburg beach experience.
“Munyaka will bring South Africa to life and boost its economy. This is a magical place. Looking at the lagoon and the outdoor spaces, I think this is the way to build great communities,” said Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the Republic.
Due to its spectacular nature, this ultra-luxury residential complex has been highlighted by the press on countless occasions and has been defined as “Johannesburg’s first beach”.
